It is an exhibition of students and teachers of studio of Faculty of Art and Design, Jan Evengelista Purkyn\u011b University in \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem. The studio is presented not only through their realizations in the fragile material of glass, but also through other art techniques related to glass (graphics, painting, sculpture).<\/p>\n<p>The Glass Studio cultivates art thinking, tries to shape an individual artistic opinion through open art work in its students, to develop their skills, and teaches them how to apply the acquired experience in work with materials mainly of industrial nature. Students produce their work in the fields of design, applied arts, open art work or realizations in projects for concrete architecture.<\/p>\n<p>As the head of the studio, senior lecturer and artist, Ilja B\u00edlek says: \u201e<em>Nov\u00fd Bor region is the nearest glass area to our studio that we keep in a very close contact with. It is not only a technological and material base for us, but also a place where we have many friends among high school teachers, artists, and craftsmen and where our graduates find work.
